Michael Müller

I have been working in the BI field for 20 years. My focus is on data modeling and architectures as well as on Data Vault, DWH automation and embedding BI into the company. I am an active member of the board of the German-speaking Data Vault User Group (DDVUG) e.V.

For me, the methods are more important than the tools – it is better to know not only ‘how do you’ but also ‘why does it makes sense doing it’.

My many years of experience in Business Intelligence have clearly shown me that neither trendy tools nor the implementation of rigid processes lead to success. For me, the most important thing is the disclosure of needs and the respective benefits. To disclose these benefits, to choose the appropriate methods to implement sustainable processes that can be further optimized – that is my job.
